Keep all your cats safe this Halloween.

Cats, especially black cats, are often a target of random violence on Mischief Night and Halloween. Be sure to keep your furry friends inside on these nights to make sure they stay safe. Think of the kitties!

Also, black cats are often the least likely to get adopted year round. If you or someone you know is looking to adopt a new cat, consider getting a black one! They’re just as cute and show less dirt. ;)

Please seriously consider keeping your cats inside. I know they’re going to get all restless, but it’s for their own safety! (I have a soft spot for black cats especially, because they have the sweetest disposition of any cats!)

This is one of the main reasons my boyfriend and I kept our black cat peter. He was a little over a month old and he followed us around our town for almost an hour and then proceeded to follow us home. We couldn’t let this little guy be messed with on Halloween, which was in a few days, which actually happens in our town. That was 2 years ago and I fucking love my cat! <3
